Okay...For all the people who do have a copy of the book so far, we will be putting the updates onto this page, so you are not constantly asking Rachel and I about what's going on in the book. From this point on, if you want information, please come back to this website. We will post the information on here, once a day. Do not bother us unless we have forgotten to update the information. We would like to be able to continue the story without interruptions. Much Appreciated, especially by Rachel, who is always bugged by our constant question: What page are you on now???

Rachel says that she wants to take a break from writing, so besides what she has sent to me to edit so far, she won't be writing for a few days during our holiday break. And I have an idea for a companion to the trilogy, but I'd have to get to the third book before it could tie into the story. Sooo, yeah. That's about it for now.

Hehehe. I literally got zero sleep last night. Whoops, night before, I slept like 15 hrs last night. But still nothing new. We're on spring break now (!!!) so hopefully Amy can finish the chapter before she leaves on her trip later this week. I will bug her about that, don't worry. Or I would if she'd not take naps when I call... hehe... sorry Amy, I still love ya. Oh, and we're (yes, all of us) getting a lot farther on the companion ideas... that's it though.

Okay. Amy has a general direction as to where she's heading in the chapter-the SECOND chapter, to be exact-after a month and a half's rest. So, hopefully she'll be able to type it up in no time at all, and then Rachel can get back to writing, and there will be no problem, and everything will go back to normal. Well, I have something to put... *pouts... Bethany took my chance for having something to report...* hehe... anyways, like I said do actually I have something else to put--I know how to make these little cloth covered books, I've made them for both Bethany and Amy, and recently (aka last weekend) I made myself one. Inside this book I am now (well, not now, but you get the point) writing little outlines for each chapter, so we can stay on task with what's happening in the book and no one has an excuse to get stuck anymore, so hopefully this won't happen again and we won't have to put up pointless repeats of "She's still not done" just for the sake of having something to put up here as an "update". Yeah, I'm sorry about all of those... I'll probably also be doing this outline-y thingy for the third and last book of the trilogy as well.

Psh, you never said anything about that throughout all my other updates... =P Anyways, just wanted to let ya'll (yes, I say ya'll...) know that I have reached... drumroll... page twenty!! Yeah, I know, so anticlimatic. Sorry. But it's good, since I started this in... scroll up... December, and finally I get to this milestone. And yes, Amy does get credit too, since she contributed... five... pages? I believe so, anyways. But I just wanted to tell you that there has been progress. Also, I'm going to go through and delete all but a couple of the "Amy's still got it, can't write, no progress, etc" updates since they're just a waste of space.

What? No updates? Oh well. I guess that's because...Rachel is not currently at home at the moment; she and her family have gone to the Museum of Natural Science to watch an IMAX movie on sharks, and to see an exhibit. The only thing that bugs me is that they left at 10:00 in the morning today, and now it's nearly, 5 o'clock, and they still aren't here yet. No one has been writing in the book, since no one is here to write in the book, but we are all at peace and there is no war going on that should include you. Trigger

Well... I've gotten to page thirty...? Yes, I know, five pages in almost three weeks, it's very sad. I just haven't really been in the mood to write--too many other things... going on, I'll say. Even now I feel like writing, but not the book. Don't worry, it's not about to go to my "Old Stories" folder (yes, I have one, sadly enough). At the moment I'm just doing some exploratory writing, I'll call it. Aka I'm just writing whatever comes into my head. You should try it, it's fun. Well, seeya (well, not see you, but...).

Well, Hallelujah, Glory to the Lord, etc etc, I finally finished this infernal chapter. It's about time, I've been annoying myself really... :-/... However, at the moment Amy is in Colorado and has only been on a computer once, at which time I missed her, so... she can't exactly get the file when I send it to her to write. Sending anyways though.

BTW, color is for heat and dryness. If you've ever lived in Texas, or are there now, you'll understand. It's a 100+ degrees here on a normal day, and we're getting little rain.

Yes, I realize that it has been about a month since we've updated, but people have been out of town, at camps, trips, all that jazz. So.. yeah. But I'm just on real quick to let everyone know that Amy is currently writing and has been writing a bit each day... And it has needed lots of proofreading, and she keeps rewriting it and stuff but whatever. At least it's something. And Rachel's been working on this other thing, too, and I have this tiny little writing activity I'm working on by myself, too, since I'm this total Romance Novel freak, but yeah. So, Amy's writing, and hopefully I'll remember to tell Rach to start checking up on this thing more often.. Trigger.

Well, we're all pretty busy now that schools in (bleah) and we're fishies and all, so while Amy has been writing it hasn't been all that much. HOWEVER. Our school has instigated a "1:1 ratio" thingy, can't remember the way-too-fancy-for-the-concept name they gave it, but the thing is we each have our own tablet laptop for the year. Which would be fricken amazing if they didn't block off even the most harmless sites. Honestly, even research sites are blocked off as forums or whatever. Don't ask, I personally think we only have idiots in charge here. In any case, the point is we can now type during school (something I've been doing whenever I'm bored and spacing out--on the companions, that is) and Amy is winding down to just rewriting a few paragraphs in her chapter, you know, adding in something here, doing whatever else there, etc etc. Sorry if I'm snappish, by the way. Stomach ache. heh heh.. >.> so, yeah. Just wanted to put something up here. Poor neglected site. I apologize. To ya'll and the page, that is. teehee...

Okay. Yes, I know it has been many weeks since our last update, but we have been amazingly busy with school and just living our lives. I am only on because I suddenly remembered all the things I'm deleting today since I'm now 100% over my ex-boyfriend and I can completely move on with my life, and then I thought of this- not because I'm deleting it, but because it's a website. So yeah, I just deleted about 1,000 of his messages and I still have more things to do. I'm really proud of myself though, because instead of just shutting everything out about him, I gradually rid of things and let him go until I was ready, which I am now. So... It really is great. I feel terrific.
And oh, for the actual update...
Rachel has finished writing her section (meaning chapter) of the book, and so Amy will be getting it. I got the roughdraft of the chapter a few days ago, but I haven't had the time to proof read it since I was in California the whole time. I will try to do so tonight or tomorrow.
And here's an update for you-- I got rid of the blog page on here where my "love" stuff used to be, since I'm getting rid of everything. It's been almost three months since I broke up with him, and I'm completely ready and on my own now... I like it a lot. Okay, I'm off! Trigger.

Wow. 2010. Okay, well, anyways, I apologize but Bethany was actually mistaken back in December. I was not finished. I did, however, finish... what was it... Monday? During lunch. So I literally just sent that off to Amy who will be working on it... soonish... Anyways. I also apologize for taking so long with it. I admit, I was lazy and spent more time playing Bloons Tower Defense 4 (great game, by the way) and Canfield solitaire than writing. :-/ So I shouldn't really complain... soo, yeah. Okay, this is ridiculous. Amy is still not finished with chapter.. um... don't remember. But that's not actually the point. She's not done. So, I am giving her til the end of the school year (June 3) to finish. Which is extraordinarily generous, considering my original deadline was the day before yesterday and the only reason I'm extending it is because this past week, her access to her laptop has been.. sketchy... and the laptops will be turned in this Tuesday. If she's not done by then... well... let's just say I really really need to talk to her about what will happen then.

OK. So. I've talked to Amy about an extension, however she doubts she will finish, and doesn't seem willing to really try. So I will speak to her when I see her tomorrow morning, and she will be... ah... well, to be blunt, she's kinda fired. :-/ So hopefully tomorrow I will start working on it again. 
On a brighter note, I'm going to go ahead and give the title, since seeing "book two" up top is throwing me off a little. Book two is called Bane. I'll put that on the page name tomorrow, when I update about starting to write again for sure...

Alright, sorry I didn't put this up here yesterday (this being the 30th), but I was at a swim meet all morning and at various stores all afternoon... But I just sent the book to myself (it was on my SD and the desktop has no jack for it) and will be writing on it within the next, oh, five-ten minutes? :)

Hello there. This is Bethany, AKA the trigger, and I'm the one who usually updates this page. I'm surprised to see Rachel's above ^ comment. I didn't realize she had gotten on and posted something. But I'm glad she did so that I don't really have to talk about the, uh, best friend getting fired from the book. Anywho, Rachel has now taken completely over for the second book, and is currently working on it right now. Progress has been slow, but at least there is something being done, unlike what was being done before, but that's no importance now. She recently sent me her latest writing, which wasn't actually a part of the novel Bane, but of one of the companions. So I read that, and think it's coming along pretty well. More news will be posted as progress quickens and continues. :) Trigger.

Also, school is coming back in a matter of days- I cannot wait!- and that will be something else that gets in the way of the series and will be keeping us-mainly Rachel- from writing at a positive rate. Dang. Um, happy New Year everyone? I didn't realize how long it's been since we've posted up here... but this is a bit of a diferent post, I'm afraid. See, there's been a crapload of... drama, for lack of a better word, with Amy, and I've lost my motivation to write a book in which the three of us--or rather, our parellel charactes, Maeve, Rosaleen, and Leah--are all happy and friendly  together. So, I'm taking a break. I know this site started as a kind of motivator for others, to say "hey, we're writing too, it can be done we promise," and this seems contradictory to that, but I'm not stopping forever. I'll still write on the companions (which I have been doing) and I have a brand new story idea that I just started earlier today. I'm not stopping completely, nor am I stopping Bane completely... just taking a vacation for it until I get my head back on straight about all of this. Teenagers can write books. And publish them, even (Amelia Atwater-Rhodes, anyone..?). So please, if you're here for encouragement, we're rooting for you. And not that I don't trust y'all, but still please please please don't take any of the information on this site for your own uses, none of my characters or anything... I'm paranoid, I'm sorry. But still.... Also, I see there's been people who still get on here fairly regularly, and I'd like to thank those. Maybe I'll put up a tab for my new sotry? It's completely disconnected from the world of the Tirann Isle (where Bane and Incognito were set), but still... maybe.
So, nothing more here till I restart Bane. Or until I finish it. Maybe I'll start it and not want to jinx it by putting it up here... we'll see. xD

So, here's a bit of a different post again. Compared to the above, anyways. I have officially restarted Incognito. AKA, I've started on this trilogy again. =) I am restarting from the beginning instead of restarting just Bane, as I said on, what's that date? February 21, because I want to get the whole series (as it is so far) into a better state from my own point of view, and since I've long been dissatisfied with Incognito, I figured I'll start from the top. I'm going to change the details of the story a bit, to pace it better and develop the plot more before the climax, work in some more distinction between characters... etc, etc.
Btw, if y'all are wondering... there are still issues with Bethany and Amy. And they are highly unlikely to ever be resolved. So, from here on out, my trilogy will be a solo project. Besides, this will help the plot and the time it takes to write, since school restarted this week and we will be getting our laptops within and month. So I'll be able to type in class when I should be concentrating on current events or physics or pre-calculus or something. ^.^
